Zamberlan, not just footwear! Our climbing school

Zamberlan is not just footwear! Out of our group's experience, in 2008, an association was born: AZA (Associazione Zamberlan Arrampicata), whose mission is to promote sport climbing in our local area, with a particular focus on young people. Today our gym counts two bouldering rooms, a 20-metre outdoor tower, a dry-tooling tower and two fitness rooms.

What courses does AZA offer?

As its name suggests, AZA is first and foremost a climbing school, running courses for all ages, starting from kids under 14. For the youngest, our instructors offer group activities with games and climbing-specific exercises throughout the school year, Monday to Thursday, in two sessions from 4.15pm to 7pm. For older climbers, AZA offers the chance to tailor the course to your level (beginner or advanced) and to the number of lessons.

But AZA didn't stop there: thanks also to collaborations with other local associations, it organises courses in:

  • Nordic Walking: an increasingly popular technique aimed at relaxed walking through the functional use of two poles, which bring multiple benefits.
  • Pre-ski conditioning: training aimed particularly at skiers preparing for the winter season, building adequate fitness and reducing the risk of injury.
  • Fitness and core stability: to stay in shape in every season, especially when heading outdoors isn't possible, protecting physical and mental health.
  • Gentle gymnastics: aimed especially at seniors and those suffering from back pain, improving joint mobility and body awareness, correcting posture, increasing flexibility and easing joint pain.
  • Postural gymnastics in pregnancy: to take care of yourself, your health and your baby's, living the months of expectation with enthusiasm and vitality.
  • Yoga: an ever more widespread practice that helps fight back pain and improve posture, while keeping anxiety and stress in check. An excellent way to combine psychological balance with a toned body.
  • Dance-climbing: a different approach to the climbing world — a discipline for beginners and experts alike, and for dancers who wish to study movement from a different perspective.
  • Pilates: training that teaches correct posture, making people aware of their body and mind, with the further goal of bringing greater harmony and fluidity to movement.
  • Psychomotor education for children: a discipline aimed at developing personal balance and greater self-confidence through movement and play — also indicated as therapy for children with disabilities.
