October 20, 2014 – Zamberlan Conquers the Ama Dablam Summit (6,814 m): The Trailer
It is not just an extreme expedition... It is not a challenge to conquer nature... This is a journey among friends who love the mountains...
To celebrate the company's 85th anniversary in the outdoor footwear industry, Zamberlan organized an expedition to one of Nepal's most beautiful and breathtaking peaks: Mount Ama Dablam (6,814 m).
The team that successfully summited Mount Ama Dablam consists of three Italian and two Russian climbers: Marco Zamberlan, Caio Pellizzari, Stelvio Frigo, Vlad Moroz, and Vasily Voloshin. Driven by deep experience, the team relied on Zamberlan gear to ensure high-level performance, maximum comfort, and uncompromising safety.
Indeed, the true highlights of the expedition were the new 6000 KARKA RR boots—one of the flagship products in the new 2015 collection—which proved their extreme durability and reliability directly in the field.
The expedition to the 6,814m summit lasted approximately one month. Throughout this time, the team negotiated vertical terrain, sheer drops, and technical difficulties that highlighted the strengths of both the climbers and their equipment, proving the exceptional quality of the gear chosen for this endeavor—tools that have now become vital components for the most extreme journeys and beyond.
