During long hunting trips, a frequently overlooked piece of clothing can make all the difference. We are talking about socks, long considered a mere accessory, but increasingly crucial for ensuring foot comfort in cold and damp environments. For some time now, the sports world has discovered how sock manufacturing technology has made massive strides in blending natural and synthetic materials to create products with highly diverse performance traits. Zamberlan® could not back down from the challenge of adapting this technology to the hunting world. Driven by the goal of offering customers 360-degree comfort, the company created its first two hunting sock models in 2019—available in both high and low versions—to meet the specific needs of hunters. Breathability and insulation are the cornerstones of the Zamberlan® range, which blends the qualities of natural raw materials, such as merino wool and cashmere, with the technical performance of synthetic fibers.
Active or Stationary? Choose Your Ideal Hunting Socks!
Whether you practice active tracking or stationary hunting from a blind, Zamberlan® has the answer.
-
Active Hunting: For those who cover great distances, our company has engineered the Forest hunting socks, available in two versions: knee-high or calf-length. Breathable and form-fitting, they are made of Coolmax®, a fabric composed of polyester fibers capable of channeling moisture away from the foot to the outside of the sock. This fiber characteristic allows the foot to stay dry even after intense physical exertion. In this model, the toe and heel zones are beefed up with anti-abrasion reinforcements, while elastic bands are positioned around the ankle and along the foot to ensure a snugger fit. The entire surface of the sock is covered in a Terry fabric with high cushioning capacity.

-
Stationary Hunting: For hunters who instead practice their activity in static situations, waiting motionless for game to pass, we developed a thermal model that delivers high performance in terms of protection, softness, and durability. These are the Zamberlan® Thermo Forest socks, crafted primarily from merino wool and acrylic to ensure that the correct warmth is maintained inside the boot, even in low temperatures and/or high humidity levels. Available in knee-high or calf-length versions, this model also features elastic bands around the ankle and foot for a more supportive fit. The stationary hunting socks engineered by our company guarantee maximum protection thanks to the anti-abrasion reinforcement running throughout the entire sock, while the Terry fabric enhances cushioning. Being a pre-washed garment, it remains unaltered after frequent washes without compromising the actual sizing and fit.

All Zamberlan® hunting socks are available in multiple sizes: XS for sizes 35–37, S for 38–40, M for 41–43, L for those wearing shoes 44–46, and XL for 47 and 48.
